Workshops are educational, explorative and experiential. They may include lectures and discussion of health, philosophy, metaphysics, mysticism and psychedelics, plus experiential exercises, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness and gentle Tai Chi-like movements. It is not medical/psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy, counselling or emergency care. No psychedelic or other illegal substances will be provided, administered or permitted in any Workshop.
Voluntary participation
I understand participation in any activity is voluntary. I may decline or stop participating in any activity at any time and am responsible for deciding if an activity is appropriate for me.
Your Declaration:
I understand there are some circumstances that a waiver cannot cover as per British Columbia law. All other liabilities allowed by law are waived by my accepting below and purchasing a ticket. I understand the workshop is educational, explorative and experiential.
My responsibility
I will use reasonable judgment, seek medical advice as needed, and inform the facilitators of concerning reactions. Facilitators are not responsible for determining my fitness to participate.
Acknowledgment of risks
While unlikely, engaging in meditation, breath work, and reflections on expansive states can include physical, somatic, and emotional challenges such as (but not limited to): light-headedness, feeling overwhelmed, and temporary disorientation;
unexpected sensations, thoughts, memories, distress, altered perceptions, emotional activation, and actions of others which cannot be predicted or controlled.
Another remote category of risk is from the behavior of other participants. Possible risk could be from interaction with other participants ie: contacting disease from others or confrontation with other participants. Any liability would be directed towards those involved and not the liability of the Center of Infinity Foundation. If you are ill at the time of the event you should notify us that you cannot attend. No guarantee, Conduct, Severability, Governing law
No outcome is guaranteed. I agree to conduct myself safely and follow instructions. If any part of a contract is found illegal or unenforceable, the rest of the agreement remains valid. This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada.
I have read the above examples and agree by my participation in the Center of Infinity Foundation workshops to waive all liabilities permitted by law against all those involved in providing the workshop provided by the Center of Infinity Foundation and or its associates.
